Anh Bình, 44 tuổi, Bình Lục, Hà Nam bị mảnh đá văng trúng vào mặt khi đang mài đá, khiến mắt trái chấn thương nghiêm trọng.
Chiều 9/8, anh Bình được chuyển đến Bệnh viện Mắt
Trung ương (Hà Nội) trong tình trạng mắt trái tổn thương rất nặng, vỡ
nhãn cầu, lộ cả tổ chức nội nhãn, không phân biệt được sáng tối, rách
mi...
Theo các bác sĩ khoa Chấn thương Bệnh viện Mắt Trung
ương, trước hết sẽ tiến hành phục hồi vỏ nhãn cầu cho bệnh nhân, điều
trị giữ được nhãn cầu, phẫu thuật tạo hình mi, nối lệ quản...Tuy nhiên,
những ca tai nạn chấn thương mắt nặng như trường hợp của anh Bình, khả
năng phục hồi thị lực là rất thấp.
Thạc sĩ Nguyễn Quốc Anh, Trưởng khoa Chấn thương của
bệnh viện cho biết, những trường hợp bị chấn thương mắt do tai nạn lao
động như trên không hiếm gặp. Ngoài việc ảnh hưởng đến thị lực của mắt,
thẩm mỹ, thì chi phí điều trị cũng thường rất lớn. Trong khi đó, những
chấn thương này có thể phòng tránh được bằng cách đeo các loại
kính dự phòng. Tuy nhiên hiện nay ít người sử dụng
kính bảo hộ khi làm việc.
Bác sĩ khuyến cáo, nếu không may bị chấn thương mắt,
người bệnh hãy băng che vùng mắt này lại và khẩn trương đến các cơ sở y
tế gần nhất có chuyên khoa mắt để được cấp cứu kịp thời. Tuyệt đối không
tự ý lấy dị vật, không tự mua thuốc nhỏ mắt về tra. Kết quả điều trị
chấn thương mắt phụ thuộc rất nhiều vào việc người bệnh đến viện sớm và
cách xử lý ban đầu.
